Prof. Hildegard M. Franke, Ass. Jur.

Didactic Director, Dean of Consciousness and Transformation

Tailoring knowledge to specific target groups and imparting it in a sustainable manner is a task that Mrs Franke dedicated herself to during her law studies in Cologne, and for a good 30 years in her own revision course and the online academy she implemented together with her husband, as well as within the framework of the European Entrepreneur Academy she founded out of the Club of Europe.

Since 2004 she has been working mainly as a coach and trainer in personal development: Supporting people to recognise their potential, their path and to walk free of burdens and blockages. Her credo: mindfulness and awareness in all areas and situations of life.

At HIBS, she integrates Consciousness both as a module in all business degree programmes and as an independent Master of Arts in Consciousness and Transformation programme, which can be entered as of the summer of 2021.

Currently, certified trainings are offered in the areas of personality development and Consciousness in Leadership.

Prof. Dr. Ulrich Wehrlin

Ulrich Wehrlin studied economics at the University of Freiburg i. Br. During his studies he attended the lectures of Prof. Dr. Erich Hoppmann, who had been the successor to the Hayek Chair. As a retired university lecturer in England, Prof. Dr. Wehrlin is now mainly responsible for his numerous academic publications and continues to develop teaching materials (business administration and economics – each with a different focus, e.g. start-up management, health care management, simultaneous management, etc.) for the university sector.

Prof. Christoph Reinicke

Christoph Reinicke was previously personnel manager at the Kaufhof Group (Cologne), as well as chairman of the board of a company health insurance fund. He also acted as the sole chairman of Bad Neuenahr AG. As the founder and board member of @home eG, he is responsible for e-health projects in Germany and China. In an honorary capacity, he served as the founding board member and treasurer of the Innonet Health Economy association initiated by the Rhineland-Palatinate Ministry of Economics. He is also an honorary lecturer at the Vienna University of Technology (Department of Project Development and Project Management in the Health Care Industry) and holds aprofessorshipat the Hayek University (Hayek Academy Cyprus/Hayek Int. Business School) in the fields of health care and human resource management since 2018.

Dr. jur. Bernd Nachbaur studied law at the Karl Franzens University in Graz and completed his studies with a doctorate in law. After working at the court, he acted as a legal advisor and finally as a manager of several branches of industry in the service of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber. He publishes among others in the blog “wirtschaftswunder.at”. For the political party sector, he has drafted policy papers on economic policy.

Dr. Stephan Bannas founded Steuerlehrgänge Dr. Bannas in 1989 as one of Germany’s largest providers of courses to prepare for the tax consultant state examination. Prof. Dipl.-Kfm., Qualified Business Lawyer Detlef Martin van Dongen LL.M., MBA, DBA

Dipl.-Kfm., Qualified Business Lawyer Detlef Martin van Dongen LL.M., MBA, DBA is one of the lecturers of the H.I.B.S. Cyp. since the beginning of 2021.

The trained physiotherapist and industrial management assistant first completed his studies in economics, then in business law and finally in law. After several management positions in the social sector, he now acts as a legal guardian for several local court districts in Berlin.

With his profound knowledge and experience in the interface area of economics and social affairs, he now complements the professorial staff of the H.I.B.S. in a very important position.

His dissertation focuses on corporate and staff management in institutions from the care sector.
