As the founder of the Cologne Wiso-Repetitoriumat the University of Cologne and its director for many years, the repetitor, who is known throughout Germany, founded a training institution for auditors in the mid-1970s: theCologne Auditor Training Courses Dr Braunschweig Dr Kallwass Dr Stitz. This institution also gained nationwide recognition and fame. Parts of the didactically optimised teaching materials have been published – for example by Gabler Verlag, Wiesbaden.

Dr Karl Braunschweig was succeeded by his son Christoph


Prof. Dieter E. Franke, Dipl. Ing.

Studied mathematics at the University of Cologne with a minor in business administration, followed by studies in communications engineering at the Technical University of Cologne (TH Köln), graduating with a diploma.

1991 foundation of the repetitorium “franke-rep” for students of business administration, economics, mathematics and law. 1999 foundation of new-virtual-learning AG, board member for production & technology, development of the 1st Online Academy for students with over 500 online teaching units for law, business studies & economics, 2006-2010 acceptance of various teaching assignments, e.g. at the TH-Köln and the Journalism School of Cologne, 2010 foundation of the Open School of Ethical Entrepreneurship.

Since April 2018, he has contributed his excellent expertise to HIBS as prorector and head of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics.
